The shield seemed to work as she didn't feel any boils suddenly popping up anywhere. Thinking she was in the clear she was about to cast a spell back when she suddenly felt herself tripping. Rats, she had been hit but not enough to knock her down.
She got her balance and shouted "Obscuro" the spell flew at his eyes, "Expelliarmus". She hoped he wouldn't know what was coming at him if he couldn't see. Although it did nothing to his hearing and since she didn't really know any non-verbals she didn't think it would really work. It was worth a try though. She knew her best shot at winning this was going to be by disarming him.
"Welcome," he said with a grin, sidestepping and tossing up a shield at her next spells. The obscuro flew past him, but he didn't bother to see where it ended up. The second spell extinguished itself against his shield, which he immediately dropped. "Levicorpus."
The spell shot straight towards the second year; Raiden followed up with a non-verbal Stupefy. Hopefully she'd be able to block. If not, she'd be hanging upside down in the air, unconscious. |
