Evan wrote down his homework quickly and turned to answer to Marie. "I'll visit professor now." he said in a suddenly sad voice. He really wanted to go with Marie, they couldn't have much time alone. But he also told the professor he'd see her after class. And he had to. "I'll come and find you afterwards, okay?" he said and wanted to give her a kiss on cheek but this was a 'classroom'. Not a good idea. Instead, he waved and followed professor.
He stood a few steps away from her, waiting for her to finish her job with the students so that he could learn the way to her office. He soo should have wandered around the grounds more.
Marie suddenly felt saddness when Evan said he was staying behind with the professor. Hearing him say he would come find her later though brought a smile to her face.
"Oh okay, I'll just go get started on my homework. I'll see you later." She smiled and gave him a little wink then turned to write down the homework assignment.
"Have a great afternoon Professor" she said as she started back to the castle. She turned and gave Evan one last smile before leaving. Pretending to be just friends was harder than she thought it would be.
