Looking away from Evan when she heard someone talking to her Marie noticed it was Nicoletta.
"Um yeah, you should have." Realizing how rude that sounded she said
"Sorry, didn't mean to sound so rude, thanks for the apology." She knew Nicoletta was only defending her friend but come on, she was going to throw potion filled balloons on Marie's head. She was
not going to be friends with her anytime soon.

Okay, he saw Violet, made peace, he even talked to Nicoletta. Now, could he and Marie excuse themselves and be away?
Seeing the smile on Evan's face only made Marie's excitement that much more intense.
"I was just down at the practice pitch flying, well actually I was racing. It was me and Evelyn against Josh and Carter. I didn't think I would do very good since Josh and Carter are quidditch players but guess what! I beat Josh and tied with Carter and Evelyn." She stopped to take a breath and then remembered about Josh.
"We didn't really get to celebrate the victory/tie over the boys though because Josh started jumping on his broom and fell off. He now has a broken arm and had to go to the healer." Silly boy, would he act like that if he lost a quidditch match? Maybe he was just mad because he was losing to girls. No matter what, Marie was happy even if she didn't really win, she still kept up with Carter and he wasn't even on a school broom.
Noticing the look on his face when Nicoletta mentioned fighting she whispered
"I'll tell you later..... I promise." Crud, now she had to tell him what happened. She was sort of hoping he wouldn't find out, what if he didn't want a
girlfriend that fought with others. Guess she will find out later when she talks to him about it.
