Ferris followed her to the shore of the water, his shoes having also been left by the fire, and let his feet get washed over by smooth cool water. He listened as the girl at his side spoke, telling him that she never expected for him to be here so soon, meeting all of her family. "Yeah, me either," he said with a weak smile. "It definitely wasn't planned," he said with a small sigh, his brown eyes scanning the moonlight waters with a weak smile. "But, I don't mind. I like meeting your family. It's like meeting more of your past."
