Alexa's smile faltered and she knitted her brows. "Yeah, I suppose so. My parents feel the need to buy me lavish things to make up for the fact that they treat me like crap more often than not, if you call that lucky... then so be it. If you don't want the broom that's cool." she said, her voice with an edge to it.

Turning to the guy she said, "Hey, nice to meet you." Then she looked back at Lucy and said, "Uh, yeah so I'll be back later. I need to go take care of something." With that she turned and bolted for the door, disappearing through it as it appeared.
