Her eyes were now wide with disbelief that Torin could NOT understand why waking up with a giant spider on her would be scary. What if it had bit her? What then? She could have died in that bathroom and no one would know the difference. And then Torin went to GET the spider. No! He was supposed to KILL the spider.

But then Cadence realized she had just told a Prefect she had fallen asleep on the floor of the bathroom, and she probably looked like a frightful mess right now. This was going to be an awkward conversation...
