Jake's eyes went wide and he stared at the Healer, then at the door... then back at the Healer. "I'll wwwwait here," he said quietly, as if the girl might hear him. Like, DUDE. What had happened?! Even though he was still mad at her, Jake wanted her healed first. He'd worry about himself when she was okay. "Guhh-go to hhher fuh-fuhh-first," the boy added, lying down on the bed (may as well) whilst he thought about it.
"Pppplease..."

Gabriella figured Jake would take the option that left him waiting a while before his second dose. She nodded in agreement, even though she was still a little leery that he'd jump up and leave the Hospital Wing the moment she walked out the door to head to room two. She took comfort in knowing that even if he did, he wouldn't get far with that hacking cough and possible fever.
"I figured you would want to do that," she said, standing up from her stool and making her way to the door.
"I want you here when I come back, Mr. Upstead. Leaving without your second dose will only make things worse in the longrun." She watched him for a second longer, hoping that he was taking her words to heart, then turned and headed out the door.
