“Sorry! I’m not trying to do that, I swear,” Neville insisted. He was trying to practice his dueling with Seamus, but for some reason every time he waved his wand, he ended up zapping his friend instead.

“Neville! Stop it!”
“I’m trying!” Neville said once more. This was unbelievable—usually it was SEAMUS who was causing pain to the other person, not him. He usually just failed to get any effect out of his dad’s old wand.
Neither of them noticed Malfoy hiding in the bushes, zapping poor Seamus every time Neville held up his wand.
