Fred gave a sigh of releif wen the nurse fianally said she would give him a potion for pain which is what he suspected he needed from the very beginning and was glad to hear he did'nt take the stregnthening potion for no reason. He watched as the nurse went to her cabinets and smiled when she returned with vial he asumed to be his potion for pain and eagerly grabbed it from the nurse and gulped it down. He instantly felt the pain on his right side subside and smiled up at the nurse and said, "Thank you, that really helped however I do wonder how long the healing process typically is and about how long the potion have taken for the pain on my right side lasts?".
When Fred was finished taking this last dose of potion, Gabriella took the phial from him and discarded it. She thought about his question for a moment then said,
"The healing process is different for each person. That'll depend on how much rest you get and how careful you are in the next few days. Typically, though, your recovery time will be about five to seven days." "As far as how long the potion will last, it'll be in your system for about a week. You won't have to come back for a second dose, if that's what you were concerned about," she answered. Seeing that the boy had taken all the medications she could give him and simply needed to rest now, Gabriella decided to officially dismiss him.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, Mr. Pelican, I have a few more patients waiting for me. You should go rest now," she added.
"Have a good day!" On that note, she smiled politely then turned from the room.
