He didn't know what that meant, he made a mental note to send a letter to Carlisle asking. He was worried about her now. He dropped one arm and the other hand reached for hers, pulling her along with him. "C'mon, I'll go with you in wolf form."
Tariana let out a low growl.
"You don't even know, Jacob!" Now he was pulling her.
"You're not moving fast enough," she hissed. Pulling from his grip she tore off into the night, darting into the forest. She didn't even pause to sniff the air like she usually did; she allowed her hunting instincts to yank her to the closest prey. She tackled a deer so quickly that it didn't even know what hit it as she cleared its body of blood. Once she pulled back, she was still thirsty. So thirsty. The feeling set her throat on fire, like a thousand knives were being shoved deep into her mouth. Luckily another deer was heading this way; a baby deer. It was looking for it's mother. Tariana quickly pounced him, draining his blood. Pulling back, she collasped on the ground. There. The pain was muted. For now.
