Looking down at the little bag that now lay in front of her on the table, she raised a brow and glanced at Destiny for a moment. So, they had to roll the dice on the white cloth? And think of a question thing. Okay, so that was easy enough.
Smiling just barely, Evelyn opened the bag and took out the white cloth, unfolding it and laying it gently and smoothly on her desk while trying to think of a question. Okay, so maybe it was a little harder than she thought. What kind of question should she ask? Or maybe that should be her question...
Finally thinking of one, a little curious as to what the answer would be, she took out the 13 runes from the bag and placed them in her right hand. Or at least tried to. All the runes didn't fit in her hand and some of the m kept falling onto the table. DANG! Small hand...stupid slow growing and young age! Frowning, concentrating making sure that she got every last rune to stay in her right hand, she thought of the question for a moment before rolling them on the table like dice.
'Will I be a good wand maker?'
AAaaannndd...she got...a few that were face up! That was good. Right? So, the Professor said the farthest one away face up was the most important one. And that was
The Scythe. REALLY!? Just...really...why must she get that one. Really...
A little put out now since it was obvious that she was not going to become a wand maker, she looked at the next one just out of curiosity to see what else she had.
The Crossroads. Oh joy... Then the next one that came was the
Eye, which wasn't so bad, and the one after that and the most closest to her was the
Star.
'From horrible, to amazing. Definitely, should not be a wand maker.' she thought, starring blankly at the runes that lay in front of her. Maybe she should have asked if she would become a good dragon keeper? Oh wait, pfft. She didn't need to ask that. Of course she would be a good dragon keeper...
Sighing, she wrote down what she had into her notebook, laying her head down on the desk as she wrote.
