"Good day, Ms. Jacques," she said as she settled into her business persona. "I'd be happy to come in for a consultation. Where would your restaurant happen to be?" As she continued to listen, half-keeping her attention on the dog to make sure he wasn't off getting into trouble, a flicker of something crossed her face at the woman on the other end's voice. Like she remembered it from somewhere, but only faintly. From years ago, before everything had happened.
Blinking as she stood up again, pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind, she smiled. She knew Ms. Jacques couldn't see her currently, but things like that could come through in her voice. "Anyway, if I have a location, and a time when you would like me to meet you, I can guarantee I will try to be there." She might have to let her current project wait again, but business was business. Even if it was accompanied by the weirdest feelings. "I wouldn't want to tarnish whatever image of myself your contacts have given you. And we can discuss any details after we meet." Professional. Stay professional., she reminded herself.
Loraine kept her attention both on her business phone call and the mutterings outside her office and then again, had to put the music back to low volume, after a weird thud was heard from the kitchen. Probably it'd been a pan and cabinets, she thought as remembering there was shopping still left to do, like places where to put all those pans that they didn't use much, except for catering services.
"Yes, the address is 57 Camden Road, here in London." She told Rhiannon the addressed as she checked her agenda to see if there was any other meeting she had to go any of the following days. All she could see was the interview for the kids' school, that she had to be there at sharp 3pm to review every rule stated by that school. Even though it wasn't so expensive, she wanted Caesar and Ulises to have the best education.
"I'm here everyday, from 8am to 3pm, then back at 5pm to take my shift as the head chef..." Probably not the best way to say much about her work, but it happened. "...I think we can meet at four, maybe..." She hoped Rhiannon would accept and had the time to come to the restaurant, "...and the dinner is in the house pay." Lovely offer. Lor had nothing to lose, she knew Rhiannon was the indicated for the job to make the restaurant to look the best.
