Screwing the lid back on the jar and tucking it back in the care kit, Sabel eyed the length of the broom handle. He had taken care not to miss a spot and to coat it evenly, but there were a few spots that bothered him. Taking the rage he tried to even them out and frowned a little when it did no good. Perhaps it was the warp of the wood or another blemish by the broom's previous carer covered up by wood stain.
His eyes trailed to the end of the broom where the nicks were still clearly visible under the polish and he let out a sigh. "Nothing like a few battle scars, huh Horus?"
Picking up the broom he moved over to show Professor Vindictus his broom, running his thumb over the nicks as he spoke up. "Sir, would I be able to stay for a few minutes and fills these with wood stain?"
