Listening to everyone ask questions Marie remembered the cracked broom that was back at home in the broom closet. "Professor, if the handle of a broom was to crack is there anything that could be done to fix it and would it still be good to use for flying?"
"It depends on the crack, Marie," Vindictus replied and nodded at the broom she had worked on. "Good job." And he handed her a coupon.

Kay wanted to close her see and not watch when the Professor looked at the broom. "Please be done right" Kay whisper.
Vindictus then walked over to Kay and smiled at the young Hufflepuff. "You did a good job polishing that broom," he commented and he gave her a coupon, too.

Ignore the paranoid thoughts Jake. Ohhhmmmmm.
In truth, the broom was... very shiny.
"Relax, Jakers. You did a good job polishing that broom," he said and knew exactly what the Hufflepuff loved. "Here you go." And he gave Jakers a coupon.

Putting down the rags, Destiny let the broom dry before she picked it up. She did not want that polish on her hands. It still smelled bad. Maybe they were supposed to just get used to the smell? 'Professor,' she would not call him Vinny, no matter how funny it was, ''here is my shiny broom.' Shiny indeed.
"Yes, that broom is very shiny, Destiny!" Vindictus exclaimed and gave her a well-earned coupon for her efforts.
