Alex laughed a little, loosening up as Chris spoke. She shook her head a little, her blonde hair flying again. "Well, you could look at me also? I can be a pretty good distraction, as I am sure you are finding out." She winked at him a little, trying to get her groove back. Yeah, she could do this. Sure. "Yes, we do. But I guess everyone has their own fears." She commented as she looked up at him, giggling a bit. "More rational? Oh please!" She teased. She was about to say something more when a large clap of thunder sounded like it was right over head. She gave a little squeal and without a thought clambered into Chris's lap and held onto him tight. Merlin she was going to die!
"It does sound amazing doesn't it?" She said with a smile as she looked down at the ice cream. "Rocky Road is my favorite type of ice cream." She said as she looked back up at Chris, "What is yours?" She asked.
Chris chuckled. "I'm sure I can look at you as well... if I could see you," Chris said, and began to rotate his head as if he couldn't see her. "Alex, Alex? Where did you go?" he called, looking around. He laughed at her next statement. "I should say so- I'm skipping out on Charms Homework for this," he said with a grin.
He was about to reply when she jumped into his laugh. His face had been close to her's but he moved back his head to give distance. "Whoa there!" he said with a laugh, wrapping his arms around her. "Come on... its really not that bad. I'm here, remember?" he said with a grin. She had some hair over her forehead, and he raised his hand to gently brush it away from her eyes.
"My favorite? My favorite is icecream... but right now I'm in a Rocky Road mood," he said with a crooked grin. "Come on... I'm hungry," he said, grabbing two spoons and the carton. He ignored the bowls and opened the carton up. "Come on, eat up," he said with a grin.
