Alex nodded as Chris spoke and she settled down onto the blankets next to him. She sat close to him, dure to her fright more than anything else. Her shyness had been taken over due to her being terrified of the storm. "Thanks." She said with a smile as she looked over at him. She listened as he spoke of his fear and she nodded. "Yes, just don't look down." She smiled a bit. "Merlin, don't we make a pair? I am afraid of the thunder and you the heights." She chuckled a bit.
She turned to look at him as he spoke and she realized how close together they were. She froze for a second and then shook her head. "IT is okay, no worries." She looked at the ice cream, "Uhh, Chocolate and rocky road."
Chris laughed. "Oh, don't worry... my eyes will only be on the skies," he said, with a grin, glancing up after his statement. He froze, a thrill running through him as she mentioned them as a pair. "Umm... yes, yes we do," he said, doing his best to force an entertained smile. It had just caught him by surprise and he was struggling to wrap his mind around regular thought once more. He gave a cough and nodded. "Both of which are curable... but mine is more rational," he said with a grin.
"Well... good," he said quietly and turned to look at the icecream again. "Rocky Road sounds amazing," he said with a grin, glancing over at her.
