Marie watched as the tables appeared. She put her broom on a table then opened the box with the broom care supplies in it. After carefully taking out the tail twig clippers she set the box on the table and listened to the professor give the next instructions.

Looking at the broom in front of her she notices several tail twigs that look ragged. 'Rats, and I thought I grabbed a good broom, one that wouldn't need much care' she thought. Looking around she sees some of the other students starting to clip the tail twigs on their brooms.
Taking a deep breath she carefully trims the first twig making sure not to cut it too short. Satisfied that she did it right she continued trimming the twigs on her broom.
