"But the thing is if it was like to my parent's place and my mother was around, she wouldn't be to happy. Her side is still very blood biased. Which is kind of annoying being that they have a lot of veela blood too. But being it was me, I'm sure she would get over it. I have six other siblings and I'm the middle daughter, so the bloodline doesn't end with me. So technically, it shouldn't matter who I bring home. As long as I'm happy, plus father would be happy to see that I'm not so pretentious to let a thing like blood get in the way of my happiness."

She smiled and shrugged give her bear another hug. She wondered what might have brought on the question, but really didn't want to pry too much. If there was more, he would tell her, right?

"So... If you were the only daughter... and came from a very pure-blood family... then things wouldn't be so good." Carter said with a sigh. He had told Marilyn that he understood what her family situation was, but it was still sinking in. And her being gone made him worry even more. At first he didn't mind too much, if it ever got to a point were they were serious enough that he'd have to meet her family he was just going to tackle that as it came. But it was starting to appear to him that he was already in the middle of a situation.
