Marcus had to stifle a snort as he watched Dylan hobble over to the bed. The kid was definitely a good actor but he had been a teacher for 4 years now and he knew when someone was faking it. If the boy had wanted to get out playing football, he should have just said. Marcus could be reasonable when he wanted to be.

She certainly didn't want a child leaving out the Hospital Wing injured!
When Ellie suggested that HE take a look at Dylan's ankle there was definite smirk on his face as approached the bed. "Of course Ellie" he said as he stood in front of Dylan and looked down at the boy. "Hmm it's the left ankle right?"

Hearing that Lawson was going to tend to Dylan's ankle, Jake's eyes briefly widened in alarm. But then it left again and Jake just stared Nervously at the Healer.
This... would hurt. He knew it.
In fact... It did already.
"Hurts."
Looking over to Jake, Marcus gave him a reassuring smile. "You're gonna be just fine Jake. It can't be as bad as what we went through when we went camping." There had been quite a few injuries during those three days and yeah okay most of them were Marcus' fault but he wasn't going into that right now.
A competent camper...he was NOT!
