More like smug. Hehe.
Nothing was going to stop her.
Only a few more meters.
Almost there.
Only a few-
"What the-" Nancy winced slightly at the tumult that was going on behind her. Whatever Lucille had tried to do it had so not worked. So not. That was, if the crash with which she collided with the floor was any indication.
Ugh.
Should she stop and go look what had happened? If Lucille was okay?
But what if this was all just some sort of distraction-plan once again. Noo, she was so not going to fall for THAT again. So not.
That was why she continued to sprint towards the painting.
Run Pant Run Pant Run Pant R-
THERE! Nancy skidded to a halt right before the wall with the painting...or at least that was the plan.
Reality looked a little bit different.
She had been way too fast and had of course - in the heat of winning this race - forgotten to slow down a little while before. Now, it was too late.
The wall was coming closer. Closer. Closer.
A few last helpless flails later and Nancy collided with the wall. "Hmpf!"
Lucille just looked up (after rubbing her now throbbing nose) in time to see Nancy running, running, running -
CRASH
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What idiot runs into a wall? Someone thats name rhymes with PANTS, thats who. Snigger snigger.
Did look painful, though.
Lucille couldnt help it. All thoughts of reaching the painting fell from her mind, she was in heaps of laughter. She got up from the ground, still chuckling, only to see Nancy imbedded with the wall, double up; in fits of laughter and graduallllly fall back down again.
"PHHAA - YOU - YOU-- HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" She gasped through giggles.
She wiped a tear from her eye. "Are you - ar - you - are you ok?!" she gasped.
Teeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
