A little unprepared, the boy kissed back on instinct before she broke apart and reminded him that she still could kiss him. He smiled at this, though he still had mock seriousness in his pale expression. "Fine, I suppose you could. That doesn't mean I'd respond positively," he challenged with a playful glare.
