Evan entered the boys' dormitories, found his bed and slumped into his bed, all in very slow motions as if he had just been really shocked. Well, he was shocked. Marie had hugged him for the first time. For the first time there had been a physical touch, other than him holding her hand to help her up for just once. And for the first time after Fallon, his heart had beaten too fast, not to mention his fierce blushing. This didn't mean that he was feeling something for her, did it? It couldn't. He didn't want their friendship to end. Not that it had to end really, but what if things got more awkward? That'd be a disaster.

He turned to the other side, even his shoes still on.

No, he definately didn't feel anything for her. It was just a matter of being hugged in public by a girl. He was simply embarrassed, that was all. There was nothing to exaggerate here. He nodded to himself. He was only embarrassed and that caused his heart to beat faster, as well as blush. He was her friend, and she was his. No more feelings. That was it.

He took off his shoes but felt too tired to change his clothes. Tucking in, he drift off to sleep with his mind living that moment of hug again.
