Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened as Victor originally said no, then listened to Vianna's whining, and then listened as Victor asked how he was supposed to know that Ferris wouldn't magically end up in Vianna's bed over night. Dammit, how could he tell straight through to their actual plans? He thought, and he thought and he thought again about various things he could say to Victor, but none of them worked out in his mind. None of them would get him to allow them in the same room. He would just have to resort to honesty again, it had gotten them this far. "Okay, I'm going to be very very blatant with you Victor," he warned him, his brown eyes hesitant as the more rational side of him was telling him 'GO BACK NOW, GO BACK NOW!' but he couldn't. "There's absolutely no way that you can really know that I won't be getting off the couch to come visit your sister in her own bed. There's no way for you to really know that, or trust that because I really enjoy sleeping next to her. Don't ask me why, but I do. I sleep much better that way and her bed is much more comfortable than the couch anyway, I'm sure." He paused, scanning Victor's features for any sign that he would be killed. "And I know that you hate it, but we just talk. We talk and talk and then we fall asleep. Very, very comfortably." Ferris watched Victor like a deer watched a lion before it pounced, hesitantly and watching for any sign that he needed to run. What had he done?
