Sometime during the kiss, Tariana's arms had ended up around Jacob's neck, her hands playing with a few strands of the back of his hair. Her violet eyes pierced into his black ones, and for a moment his eyes reminded her of a vampire; hungry. She shuddered. "It really was nothing, Jake. I went hunting, then went for a run, then went hunting again. I do like having time to myself, you know. I just wanted to be alone to think. I don't know why you don't believe me..."
