"An' nnnow I hhhave a huuhh-headache 'cause ssssomeone," he glared over at the Gryffindor who saw it fit to throw insults at Dylan and himself. "Won't. Sh-shut. UP. Or llleave me alone."
OW.
With a little whimper-whine, Jake laid the 'I'm all pathetic' act on thick and tried to react. "The id-idea wwwas fffine..." he muttered. It was just the EVIL STUDENTS and apparently accident prone ones.
Like Jake.
"Home..."
Enough said, really. HOME.
Placing his arm around Jake's shoulder, he gave it a gentle squeeze and lent back in the seat casually, letting the boy rest his head against his shoulder. "I have no idea what was going on in Joshua's head but he will be punished. I don't think the kid was singling you out Jake, he was being a bit of a prat to almost everyone."
Marcus cleared his throat a little, "Well I'm glad you liked the class because muggle sports is the theme for the whole term. But I'll make sure to pick a safer sport for the next lesson" he added hastily before Jake could get upset again.
And there was that word again, Marcus sighed deeply and shifted slightly in the chair so that he could look at Jake properly, "Things will get better Jake, I just need you to stick it out for a little longer."
