"At least you managed to conjure something!" Mildred smiled warmly as she passed this girl, trying to encourage her a little, "try again, dear. Your wand movements need to be liiiight. Just like a butterfly!"
The professor was right she guessed. Swishing her wand more lightly, she said, "Papillio" this time conjuring up around seven bright, blue butterflies. " I did it. I did it," she chanted softly. Quote:

And now it was FEEDING time!
"We're going to conjure FLOWERS!" Mildred beamed around the room, answering the questions of how they were going to feed the butterflies. "the theory is much the same as conjuring butterflies. You must CONCENTRATE. Picture your flowers in your mind!" They could do it!! "The incantation and wand movement however, are different."
Another demo!
"Like so. Orchideous!" Swooping her wand in a circle before her, a large bouquet of PUUURPLE flowers appeared on the desk of the nearest student.. a few butterflies landing on it. Her flowers certainly weren't orcHIDEOUS! They were PRETTY! "Keep your words clear! Or-KID-ee-us! Now, give it a try!"
This was going to BRIGHTEN up the room even more!!![/B]
Hayden smiled, flowers were her favourite, after butterflies and turtles of course. "Orchideous," she said, managing to conjure up a boquet of pink and purple orchids. Yes! she thought, watching the butterflies feed. Coming to a realisation she raised her hand. "Professor," she asked, "If this is Transfiguration, how come we aren't, you know, transfiguring anything? It seems more like a charms class."
