Kellen followed his cousin into the bathroom and shot Chaucer an irritated glare as the boy sashayed to the bathroom mirror and began to restore himself to his usual appearance. He then made a dismissive motion at him with his hands and turned instead to Sabel, "Yes, this is it. And don't look so strange, didn't I say at the table that it wasn't the most stunning of places? But listen. Just listen."
He was quiet for a moment, and then resumed talking, "No girls. They aren't allowed in here. Think Sabel, this is the only place in the whole school where we can meet without girls being there. We aren't in the same house, so the dorms are out. This is it." |
