Kellen thought about what the professor told him, distracted though he had been by Neptune's butterfly names, and fixed a colour in his mind: yellow. He stepped behind one of the other students to... well, not hide from Neptune, but certainly make himself less readily available to her eyesight... and gave his wand a flick, "Papilio."

Only three flew out this time, and they weren't entirely yellow, but that was fine. At least they weren't gray or something.
