By now, there were half a dozen butterflies in his immediate vicinity. Two red, two blue, one green, and one light, pale yellow one.
He was getting closer. Why would the things not come out orange like he wanted them to? Frustrated, Raiden flicked his wand once more, performing the motion with a little more force than intended.
The resulting butterfly was purple. WHY WAS IT PURPLE. He twitched, flinching slightly in surprise when one of the butterflies came too close and brushed against his face.
Stupid... non-orange... colours. He'd had enough. Seven butterflies were enough. Seven of them, and not ONE orange one.
