Kayla smiled, even though Vi couldn't see.
"It's good, I think I'm actually making some progress." She said. They were lucky that Ferris had thought of the knife thing, 'cause she hadn't.
"What about you?" She asked, quickly trying to cut two ropes so they wouldn't reassemble.

Jamie nodded, listening to Ferris. He put his hand into his pocket, trying to find anything in there. Nothing. He searched his other pocket and found a wrapper. That would do. He changed it into a knife, and began helping Victor and Ferris in this way that worked.
