The pale human was staring too closely at her. Stepping back, Tariana growled.

She effortlessly ripped the thick magazine in her hand in half, crumpled up the pieces and flung them onto the ground. She had said too much and she was angry with herself. Pulling her cloak on, she let the hood fall over her dark eyes. Not paying any attention to whether the pale human followed her or not, she turned and took off down the hall.
