She was the never the brave one for pain. Manners and breeding had her walking into the ward without causing trouble, but pain was another thing. That just caused yelps, screams, shrieks depending on the level, and Allison did not want to and had no reason to--she reminded herself, embarrass herself.
Gabriella simply smiled and nodded as Allison responded to the earlier compliment she'd been given. As much as she loved chit chat, any additional conversation of the sort would have to wait until Allison's ankles were healed.
When Allison asked about the potion and cream possibly hurting or stinging, Gabriella sort of bit her bottom lip and gave the girl a look that pretty much confirmed it wouldn't be altogether pain-free.
"The potion, no. I'm afraid the cream may sting just a little at first, but that's only normal," she replied, giving the girl an apologetic face.
"Why don't you take this potion while I work on your ankles? It'll help with the pain."
She passed the phial to the girl then set to work on her ankles. In less than a minute, the cream had been applied and a few bandages had been placed over the cuts and scrapes.
"Two days...," Gabriella said, glancing back up at the girl.
"That's how long the bandages need to stay put without getting wet." She stood up and discarded of the empty tube that had one housed the cream.
"...and that's a wrap. You're dismissed Miss Scott, and if you feel it's necessary to come back, please do so."
