Tobias spotted an older girl who looked alone. He jumped on the opportunity, stuffing his notes and quill and ink into his book bag and rushing over to her.
"Do you need a partner?" he asked, out of breath. "Because I do too!"
Iris smiled at the boy as he came over ... Ahh. No uniform ... That really didn't help her figure out his house. Never mind, it wasn't important. Not that much, anyway.
"Yeah ... Looks like I do." She studied him for a moment, and guessed that he was a second year. He looked younger than her, but too old to be a firstie.
"One second, Kiddo."
She skipped - yes, actually skipped - over to the box thing where Lawson had all the Footballs, and he rummaged through them until she found the one that seemed to be inflated just right. 'Twas important in the Game, to have a correctly inflated ball. Iris carried it over to the smaller kid and held it out to him.
"Have you ever played Football before? Or is it completely new to you?" She asked him curiously ... she'd not played it for about 4 years, but she was still pretty good... It would be cool if this kid knew how to play (even if it was only a teeny bit) just because of how over-inflated Cartwright's head had seemed to have gotten since the start of the lesson.
