"Owww," the boy groaned, and then, because Dylan was right, and fighting wouldn't solve anything, Jake stopped trying to charge at the boy.
Leaning back again, Jake panicked. Was it head back or head forward? What did he do? The nurse would fix him up, Jake was sure about that, but he was so right... Coming back here was a mistake.
Sooooo, the boy sat back down and held entirely still. Lawson would sort that kid out, Jake had faith.
Well, someone else was concerned it seemed. Maybe the situation wasn't as bad as Jake thought. No ganging up on him... hopefully. "Sad... yyyeah," Jake whispered, still sitting with his head still, kinda panicking. "Hhhhe d-d-did dat on p-p-puhpose," the boy groaned, and swoooooore he'd get his revenge.
"Owwwww..." Jake whined, not wiping his eyes dry. Stupid achey-face.
Celandine crouched down and sorta crawled closer, trying to get a look at his face.
"I got hit by a bludger right to the face one time." She told him helpfully. Iron + Face = bad.
"Who did it on purpose?" Cela asked, blinking rapidly. "Here, let me help clean you up. Do you trust me?" She pointed to the wand in her holster. "You're so much tougher than I am. I'd have been crying LOTS by now."
Probably not true. Even when Borr had broken her arm, Cela hadn't exactly bawled her eyes out.
Cela smiled at the other boy, the Slytherin one who was being nice to Jake. Anyone that was nice to Jake was good people in Cela's books.
And she had a lot of books.

Celandine looked over at the loud Gryffindor, her expression disapproving. Did he reaaaally want detention that badly? She'd totally do that thing with the demerits and all, but she was sure that Professor Lawson would prefer to handle it since it was his class and all.
"You need to settle
down."
Sigh. Where were Chris and Gold and Jack? Gosh they had their work cut out for them this term with
their housemates.
