Theme # 49: Wingardium Leviosa

Little Gold was not impressed. It was the summer before she went to School - learn magic-stuff - and Zeeshan Darren had arrived to show off his oh-so-great skills.

His point? That he knew more magic than her, which meant he was more awesome.

Her point?

"Get lost, Shani."


"You can't even levitate a feather," he grinned at her. "Wingardium Leviosa, look!" His wand was pointed at the pretty, pink quill in her hand, which rose into the air, was whisked out of her reach.

There was no doubt he meant to annoy her -- Gold crossed her arms against her chest, and glared at him.

"Give that back, you monster!"

"Nope," he declared, with a grin.

"You -"

"Give me one reason to give it back to you, when you can't get it for yourself, Golden," he snickered, rather evilly. Time would change his snickers to smirks, and her aggravation to eye-rolls, but that was a point still far away. For now, Gold only rose to her feet, stomped out of the room.



When he received a letter of condemnation for the practice of magic outside of School, six hours later, it was her turn to snicker.
