Hottie Al-LERRRT!

He was cute. Gold swung a bit in the playground swing, and eyed the new boy.

"New hottie on the block," Lavonne giggled, in the swing next to her. She slowed down her ride, and it came to a halt. "You have your eye on him, I see."

"'Course I do," Gold said, at once. "I mean, it's sort of a pity David and I broke up, but I guess I knew that would happen, eventually." Still, she had a new school to look forward to, at the end of the summer - and, of course, new boys. Not French boys.

English boys.

Weird.

"You could talk to him and see if that goes well," Lavonne said, with a shrug. "If it doesn't, we can get Shani to obliviate-and-stuff. Make him forget the memory, you know."

Shani? "Don't you dare even tell him of this," Gold said, at once. God, Shani was going to tease the living daylights out of her, if he knew this. It was not like he ever missed a chance to annoy her. "Your brother is such a -"

"Hey! That's my brother you're talking about!" Lavonne said, crossly.

Gold sighed.
