"Well, I'll have to admit that calling you by your given name rather than your surname might feel a little odd at first, but I'll make an exception for you...Jake," she said.
She nodded understandingly when he mentioned needing to leave. There were things Gabriella needed to tend to, and Merlin, for all she knew there could be additional visitors waiting outside. She pushed her chair away from her desk and stood, making her way to the door to let Jake out. "Thank for stopping by, Mm---Jake. Have a good day," she added.
Weeeell at least the Healer hadn't gotten used to calling him 'Upstead' for three years already, which Jake was seriously considering just... not responding to. It was alot easier that way. Hmmm... ideas.
"Th-thank you, Muhh-ma'am," he nodded his head politely, smiling once more. Smiles made Jake feel happy. Yay for smiles!
Watching the Healers' progress to the door, Jake nodded back, and was sure to smile politely and do the socially acceptable facial expressions, body language and other whatnot.
"Were nuhhh-nice tttto see yuhh-you," he commented finally.
"You hhhave a guhh-good day tuhh-too," Jake added, and nodded his head once in a kind of head bow... and left.
That had gone... well.
Now Jake had to try not to be paranoid about someone else seeing the file.
