They are a necessary nusiance to everyday life. Taking advantage of socks, sunbeams and sympathy." Merlin gave a loud, wide yawn before looking at Sabel with a bored look. He grinned. "But we love them."

Arya looked up at Emily wondering if she had a pet or not."Em, what pet do you have? I don't know if you told me or not." She looked up at her friend with bright eyes, wiggling her toes in the sand.

Glancing at Allison and Arya, he waited for their response. Allison still looked upset, and though he didn't want to pry, he was admittedly both curious and concerned for the two girls.
