Satine hurried into the CR with great excitement. This was the best place to make new friends and meet up with old friends. With Gemma, her pet chinchilla, on her shoulder, Satine bounced through the opening and headed towards her favorite chair near the fireplace. She couldn't wait for it to become cold enough to be lite all day and all night.
She plopped down on the chair suddenly and Gemma skidded off her shoulder and into her lap from the momentum. Satine quickly glanced around and looked for anyone she knew or anyone she might like to know.

Miles walked into the Ravie common room humming to himself. As he reached the door he answered the question that was asked and smiled as he walked in. Looking around he spotted Celandine and grinned. "Hey Cela?! Did you know there's a jungle gym here now?!" He was really excited about it...like whoaaaaaaa. Grinning he plopped himself down on the sofa and placed his feet on the table. "You should go check it out."
Her focus was instantly sent to a new face that she couldn't remember running into over the last two terms, but had obviously been here the whole time. She had seen the face in passing at the Feast, but now was her chance to get a name for the face. She didn't like interrupting conversations or just butting in, but this kind of seemed like a great time to join...right?
She smiled and pushed one of her loose bangs behind her ear..."
Did you say a jungle gym? How exciting? Where is it at..." she paused to see if he would respond and then decided maybe she should introduce herself.
"O I'm sorry, Howzit, I'm Satine!" she said as she held out her hand and put on her most welcoming smile while reassuring herself that it was all about meeting new peeps and making your mark this year.
