The best thing of all was that she was NOT a Hufflepuff. So no dirty great Skrewts were going to come and eat her.

After taking the longest walk she had ever had to take in her life (well, not really, she was just really very tired), Georgie was relieved to have finally reached the Common Room. Almost immediately, she felt the urge to plop down on one of the cozy, squashy looking couches and just doze off. But that would be unseemly of her. It was better to make it up to the Girl's Dorm and collapse up there.

But hey, she had energy to spare.

She had just spotted the girl from the train, Madiison, or Di, as she recalled. She also recalled that the girl particularly liked her pink dress. While she was no longer wearing it, maybe the girl would notice that her uniform was now incorporated with pinkness. Mhmm.

"Hey there," she greeted, tapping her shoulder first, then waving enthusiastically at her.

It HAD been a while since Georgie heard a compliment, and it seemed that this girl was just full of them. She really liked her. Heh.
