Feast over, Adrienne had dragged her feet a little on the way up to the tower, not really sure if she wanted to go in or not. Her worries about certain people trying to avoid her kept pushing to the front of her mind, and while she was glad they kept her from worrying too much about tryouts, and the fact she'd actually be overseeing them this term instead of simply participating, she didn't like how the other worrying made her feel. Even more abandoned than she had last term whenshe couldn't find Chloe anywhere. But then, her best friend was in Hufflepuff, so she could pretend it was understandable. When the disappeared was in the same house as her, it was a different story. And then there was always why he might be avoiding her, which only made her feel more weird. At least she didn't have to worry about getting lost, on top of all that.

But as she got to the entrance, she had remembered her pygmy puffs, and the want to make sure they were settled in had superseded anything that would keep her from entering. So after a deep breath, she stepped through the door and into the familiar common room, her heels not making a lot of noise on the carpet. She'd just deal with the rest later, and as she saw the people inside, she smiled as she headed for an open couch and sat down. At least she wouldn't be alone. maybe she could get into another random conversation, like at the feast, that could help her not think about things.
