"I'm going to go outside; I want bask in the sun," she said as she stood up, grabbed her book and headed for the front door of the school. It had been snowing yesterday but today the sun was shining. The weather was more bi-polar than Tariana was!
As soon as the sun touched her skin, Tariana began to glow, like a light had been turned on inside of her. Her skin was smooth and alight, and she looked even more breathtaking as she son smiled down on her, her hair surrounding her head like a black halo. She walked past several students and down the hill to the lake, where she sat down on a large rock and pulled her knees up to her chest, balancing her book against her legs. Opening the book, she began to read as she ignored the stares of those around her. |
