At what Kellen said next, absolutely horrified and disappointed Livvy. She couldn't help but gasp and drop her jaw. FLUNKED HIS NEWTS?! "Isn't the Head Boy appointed for a reason? "You'd think that," Kellen agreed, wondering when if ever she would stop leaning across the table at him. "But he was just a poor choice. It's not like schools pick their Head Boys and Girls to put a fool on a pedestal, right?"
"The prefects..." Kellen slid a glance over at Celandine. Oh, he hadn't forgotten whose friend she was. No he had not. But he couldn't very well ask if Trog was a prefect, could he? Instead he nodded, "I'm glad this school seems to value teamwork. Even if it does put students in different houses." |
