Famished, Samuel turned from Emily to reach for some bread and accidentally knocked over the girl to his left's goblet. Thankfully it was empty.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to. Um, I'm Sam. You're called Sabrina, aren't you? I saw you get called up to the Sorting Hat." Suddenly, Samuel realized, he was surrounded by more girls than he'd ever met before. As nervous as he felt, it was a welcome realization.
