Mina smiled and laughed a little. "Well, if you want we can study together. I was really good with homework last year and we could help each other." she offered. She did enjoy earning points for her house, but toward the end she was slacking a bit. Maybe if she had someone studying with her, she would stay on task. Yes, she needed someone to help her stay on task. "Yes, prove to the hat you are rightfully here." she smiled with a nod. "So what position are you going to try out for on the team?" She wasn't all too sure herself of what she would try out for, but she promised herself she would try out. She did just get a broom over break to practice and it wouldn't do for her to have spent all those galleons for nothing.

Letting her attention wander a little, she looked back down the table at everyone she had just met. Why she felt something wasn't right, bothered her slightly but what did she know anyway. The look on Allison's face while she spoke to Colby was a little offsetting. Was there something she didn't know? She shrugged and figured she'd just worry about it later. She still had other friends to find and say hi to.
