Chris drove back from Eva's party not in the happiest of moods. He hadn't stayed long after Helena and Blake left. What was the point? He had said his good-byes to Eva and left. He parked the car carefully just like always. He shut the car off and took the keys out. Chris slumbed back in his car and sighed. Grahhhh! He want Helena to be in the seat next to him he wanted her here now!
Chris walked up the steps and opened the door. Mike Danny and now Maggie came and said good-byes and allllll. Mike actually ended up hugging Chris-which happened a lot!-because he knew he was hurting. Chris watched them all leave and he found Nick sleeping in the living room. "Nicky." He said as he crouched down and tried to wake him up. Nick mumbled and sat up slightly. Chris rolled his eyes he sat down on the couch and soon Nick was back to sleep leaning into Chris's side. And that's how they stayed for quite awhile......
Shirts Yep. Pants yep. Hats yep. Other important stufff yep. Chris had his suite case packed with anything he needed right now and most other stuffed had been shipped to his apparment. He sighed and took one last look around God he was going to miss it. He went back into his closet and saw Mel's stuff. He pick up her picture. "You know I still love you right? It's just Lenaaaa issss sooo." He sighed he wanted to say perfect but was that right to say when looking at a picture of Melinda? He placed the picture in with his stuff. He looked at his Muggle cell phone hoping Helena would call. But of course she was at camppppp. "Come on Helena....." Grahhhhh! But he still had time to talk to her before she left for Hogwarts where she would go with out him.
"Chris time to go buddy." Charlie said walking into his son's room and patting his shoulder.
Chris felt his father's pat on his shoulder. "Yeah I know." He said. Chris and Charlie walked down the stairs. Chris had his back over his shoulder as he walked down the steps to find his mum, Nick and outside Danny, Mike and Maggie waiting for him outside in his own car! Which of course his father would pick up later....
"I better get going there waiting for me." Chris said with a small smile.
Emily was the one to hug Chris first. She hugged him tight taking off his hat in the procress. "You better call every single chance you get Christopher." She said some tears coming out now. "And I hope you out grow this hat thing." She said laughing handing the hat back to him as he pulled back.
Chris hugged his mum back. "I promise I will. And I doubt the hat thing will happen soon." He said chuckling.
Charlie grabbed Chris next in a hug. "Just be careful and we will miss you." He made it short sweet and to the point pulling back.
As soon as his father pulled back from Chris Nick pretty much jumped on him not saying anything and hugged his brother. First Chris went off to Hogwarts and now he was leaving again! It wasn't faiiiiiir.
Chris was about to answer his father when he pulled back and Nick had jumped on his. He hugged him back."Hey I will be back soon okay? And you will have to come out and visit me sometime." He said letting go of Nick. He put his hat back on and looked at his family. This was slightly weird. "I should be going out now." He said. They all said bye ones more before Chris was out the door.
For the first time his was a passenger in his fancy carrrrr. He opened the door and sat down not saying a word as he looked back at the house and Danny drove off. Chris looked out the window until the house was gone. He cluched the cell phone in his pocket. It was now one of the only ways to talk to Helena. But even if he was leaving his family,friends, and girlfriend behind Chris was living his dream now. He was finally going to America. A wide smile spread across his face as they drove on to the airport.......
