Alice watched, unsure of a way she could give instruction to a skill she'd never really learned herself. She watched attentively though, so she could apply it if the need came up in the future.
To tell truth there wasn't much else she could do. Alice glanced around at everyone else, to see if they were observing before her eyes went up to look at Axis. "Do you hear anything?" she asked curiously, raising a brow slightly, and slowly reaching for a piece of paper and a pencil to write down any observations.
Axis distantly heard Alice ask him a question. But he was too wrapped up in his spell. Both Alice and Carson were right, this was hard work.
He dove deeper, he had to concentrate with all his might to keep the connection. Since there were no concious thoughts, it made the spell harder to hold.
