Defense Against the Dark Arts
For some reason, Neville got the feeling that Professor Quirrell was even jumpier than he was.
Neville had been TERRIFIED of Defense Against the Dark Arts, but when he took a look at the professor, his nerves calmed down immediately. Was this guy a joke? Not only was the stutter completely distracting, but it made him seem like a fake—like he was terrified that someone would call him out as an incompetent professor.
Plus, there was an awful smell coming out of his turban. Either he didn’t bathe, or he was hiding garlic in there, to ward off vampires.
