"You know what?” Tonks shook a finger in Remus’ face. He blinked at it, going nearly cross-eyed before responding.

“I have no clue, but I am absolutely certain you’re going to tell me.”

That gave her pause, but only for a moment. “Don’t mock me. I’m trying to communicate here.”

“Just tell me what already, Tonks.”

She nodded, satisfied with his capitulation. “You can keep running from me all you want, Remus Lupin. I’ll just keep chasing you until you get tired.”

“Tired of you? Tired of being chased?” He grabbed her shaking finger.

“Of running away.” She kissed him.
