#96 Socks

Angelina was surprised to see that this Christmas, Lee had bothered to get her a present. She opened the bundle expectedly, but her face fell when she found that it was –

“Socks?”

Lee nodded enthusiastically. Angelina worked to conceal her disappointment of the pink bobbly things in her hand.

“They’re..er…great.” She smiled at him convincingly.

Lee stayed up that night, late enough in the common room to be present when Dobby entered to start clearing up.

“Thanks for the gift idea, Dobby. She loved them!” Said Lee, elbowing the elf gently.

Dobby gave a watery smile.

“Dobby knew it, sir!!”
